The Building Society policy is to only lend in the Hawkes Bay region of New Zealand. Our Mortgage lending is based on first mortgage security to a maximum of 70% of the property valuation for Residential property or 60% for Commercial Property.

Term of mortgage is usually 25 years but we will also consider Interest Only loans for periods up to 3 years.

Normally repayments should not exceed 25-30% of the mortgagees usual income but we will consider other propositions put forward.

We also give favourable consideration to Equity Release Loans which may need other criteria.

Residential -- Floating 5.8%

- Flat Interest Only 5.8%

- Fixed One Year 6.00%

Commercial and Farming -- Floating 7.50%
